Almeria is my favourite spot. Though it is in a car park, it is thumbs up for camping. Absolutely no problems from Cops. Stopped here 3 weeks and then another 10 days on my way back. Got to know a lot of the Campers who come here every year, like the Spanish and Portegese guys in the picture.
You have everything at you need. Drinking water from taps on the promenade (put in this year) Showers on the beach. Toilets on the beach for emptying out. Waste tank water emptied out in bowls and poured into the storm drains in the car park. (I am parked by a drain) The evenings are great for strolling around in the town and along the prom: Supermercado 5 minutes walk across the road from the car park. Spend all day on the beach and still keep an eye on your MH. A

Hi Ann and David,:wave:

Still looking through your fabulous photos and I am gobsmacked at how seemingly easy it is to park up anywhere as opposed to this country. We are very new to all of this and we hope to plan to start going further afield next year. Hubby drives abroad (lorry driving) so he knows of some nice places to go, and looking at your pictures I am feeling more and more confident that they are pretty much relaxed about it.
