What favourite food would you miss if the French or Spanish customs officials empty you motorhome fridge and food cupboards as you enter the EU after a no deal ******?

The EU will force Brit holidaymakers to hand over foods like pasties and ham after a No Deal ****** | Daily Mail Online

Been thinking hard and to be very honest if our cupboards were bare when we boarded the ferry we would not be too upset as there is not any UK food we crave for when in France or Spain preferring locally sourced produce and passing on anything on the shelves that is obviously there for British customers.

But some may start suffering withdrawal symptoms for Hovis or a Greggs pasty, for example.

One thing I do miss when in the EU are our regular visits to Mad O’Rourkes Pie Factory in Tipton. A better pie and chips you will not find but they don’t do takeaway pies only eat in. The French basically don’t do (or can’t do?) proper pie and chips as we all know!

No such restrictions when we have gone back into the EU from Morocco and Turkey, so you might be panicking a bit

I would be more upset if I couldn't bring food back into UK.

Pie and Ella especially in Barcelona with extra Basil just ask Manuel...but I may be fawlty

In a french restaurant I asked the waitress for a "quicky" ..do you mean "quiche sir"

Back in Spain I said "Do us a beer mate" and I got 2 beers

In Venice I asked for two trumpet type musical instruments.. The reply was "just one Cornetto"

In Paris I looked at the big Tower..It was a real Eyefull.

Back in Italy I asked if I could take the tower home.. "are you taking the PISA"..
There was no Magic Roundabout in Florence !

In the capital people were putting up tents very quickly so maybe Rome was built in a day

A deal will be done, no worries.

Anyway, Mac Donald’s tastes the same worldwide :lol-053:

It is the Daily (Hate) Mail. Take no notice they print any old shite to get people upset, scared, angry.
It's their shameful modus operandi.

How would the prove i did not buy it in the republic of Ireland unless the baked beans are green white and gold down there and red white and blue up norf.:lol-049:

I can remember years ago when driving HGV'S, they could check what food we had in the motor, so nothing new.
