Hi getting rather nervous, has anyone had any dealings with this delivery company based in Northampton, they are called Adept Transport Ltd.
They picked my wife's electric bike up on the 16th December and the driver was supposed to be returning the following day on route to the UK, but I have heard nothing.
I have tried ringing them and eventually managed to make contact on messenger when I was informed that both vans have broken down and because of the Xmas period they wouldn't be back on the road until the 10th January. I wouldn't mind but the van that picked my goods up was a 67 plate van.
I have now managed to get my call answered by the company, be it a mobile phone number, they don't appear to have a landline and they have told me a complete different story, apparently the van and it's contents have been siezed by the Valencia Police, he tells me one of the customers must have put something in the van they shouldn't off, he said he has no idea when or if we will get the cycle back and that it's in a secure compound in Valencia.
The cycle cost around £650.00 and it is insured, but would my insurance cover this scenario, my wife is sick as we are heading off with the motorhome for a few months and it seems she is no longer going to have a bike to use. I don't know if the company is pulling a fast one of whether it is genuine, but it's not a good position for us. I have asked him to send me proof, we will see what evidence they come up with. He claims there are 5 other customers possessions in the van that are also siezed.
