Just arrived new sign but with no authorizing details, was going to see what happens later and await a knock on the door. Shame it's a cracking spot with bins and good phone signal.

I'm assuming it's not because there is no reference to local council or any governing body.

I stayed in a carpark last week that had signs up, but nobody challenged me. Reckon a lot of these signs are only aimed at groups of people, not just one individual van, but I could be wrong....

They seek to discourage and in that aim they work very well ... all at minimum expense.

Left around 9am this morning after taking dog for it's morning constitutional, had locals blowing horn as they past taking pictures of the motorhome and the campervan near us, a bit pathetic really but apart from that a pleasant stop.

I would have been tempted to leave at about 4am and blasted the horn as I drove by their houses.
