carver 3600stc problem

hi im new to this nso here gose in my van there is a carver 3600stc i cant get it to light and i cant smell gas it apears to be a sealed unit and i dont see a spark any ideas would be grate thank you in advance

Hi.Try a new battery,usually an AA at he bottom of the fire in a little slide compartment.Check that the contacts are not corroded and put it in the corect way round ( pos and neg will be marked.)
The fire will have a separate shut off ,usually in a lower cupboard on under seats along with several others for water heater,fridge,cooker.It may have a small picture of a bot belly stove on it.
Keep the control dial on the fire pushed in and hold it in for a few second once you have spark and flame,it may take a while for the gas to come through if its not been used for a while.Make sure you have swiched on the gas bottle,try the cooker!!
These are the first simple steps to try.
