Can you drink Tesco water?

I have just been Wilding around Torbay and needing water I looked at the tyre inflater and 'screen wash' dispenser at Tesco, Newton Abbot.
The dispenser had water marked on the outside but described it as screen wash on the instructions label. Not wanting to fill with screen wash I didn't chance it, it was £1 for 2 minutes use I think; I wonder if it is just water or actually is screen wash?
 
far better to look for a public toilet and use the hand basin taps . or look for the railway station get water there .
 
Bit of a misleading title :)

I think it's plain water in the air/screenwash dispenser. Wouldn't want to drink it though.
 
Tesco water

Their 2 ltr bottles @ 17p each are a safer and more economical alternative!

I used to use this for homebrewing before i got a filtration system
I asked customer services for details of what treatments etc this water had recieved but although they assured me they would find out for me and me chasing them up they never got back to me. People have remarked that it is just tap water. It is however the cheapest way i have ever found of buying plastic bottles

Usually it's just water that comes out and you normally only pay for air at machine hope this helps
 
As the dispenser puts screen wash through the same tap as the water there is a possibility of cross contamination, better off going elsewhere for water top ups, or if you are desperate buy it from the store!
 
This made me have a look. Nowhere near as many on offer as across the channel.

Tesco Ashbeck Mountain Spring Still Water (5L) £1.10 v Value water 17p for 2 litres

But, the 5L one is probably worth it for the container. I'll have to remember this just in case.

EDIT No, sod it, I'll put a 5L one on the shopping list anyway & salt it away in Percy somewhere.
 
just find a cemetery normally they all have taps and i carry tenltr drinking water container with me
 
The empties seem as versatile as gaffe tape. Fit nicely into racks (cut to size) and cupboards, stopping everything moving and keeping things tidy. Always seem to work better than the numerous plastic boxes we have bought. We also carry a watering can for getting water. Its as big as we can comfortable carry and easy to poor into our tank filler cap. Doubles up as a shower. :)

One of the first things we bought for Percy was a brand new watering can that lives in the side locker.
 
We use the 5ltr containers, it is easy to pour in to the top of our water tank
 
Collapsable Watering Cans

I've found it very useful to buy cheap supermarket water for all the reasons mentioned above.
They are perfect for filling the tank too, but I have been meaning to buy a watering can for a while. They take up a lot of room though so thought a collapsable one would be the answer. Anyone using one or got some feedback on them?

My local gardening centre sell them, and so do amazon.

Supermarkets? I get my bread from the baker, meat from the butcher, vegetables from the greengrocer and water from the river :lol-053:

The reason I mentioned Lidl and Aldi was that I have bought water from Lidl before and it was the cheapest I had seen.
