Its a single track road all way into Coverdale. Been over on a bike but not in van. Seem to remember there are very few passing places if you met another vehicle . When you get to highest point on road there are a few pull off road places BUT these tend to be used as passing places although they are(4) on the POI map. So dependant on condition of ground further off road may be possible, but personally I wouldnt risk it.

Rough in places....
And the land either side is mostly oowned by local land owners...
Who often don't take kindly to people parking on their land.
I can think of heaps of places we 'could' have Parked up when out green laning in the landrovers but didn't to prevent upsetting land owners....
We got a free nights camp up at the lost lake (just near to Pentrefoelas) in return for transporting repair materials up there....
BUT you'd never get your average moho/camper up there though
