Hi
Can anyone advise how to get a broken key out of a locker catch?
It is just the normal type as on my Rapido 650.
Thanks in anticipation.

No the broken bit is unreachable by tweezers etch.
Had thought of the Superglue idea but didn’t know whether the whole lock would become stuck up!!😀😀

A squirt of light lubricant, you should then be able to tease it out with needle point pliers or tweezers, it may need a little jiggling to work the lubricant into the lock to make extraction easier.

You need to drill it out.
You will need a small metal bit (1-1.5mm)
Drill a hole about 15mm into the key.
Remove the bit, apply superglue to the bit put in back into the key.
Wait for 5-10 minutes and you should be able to get it out.
If its stiff wiggle it a bit it should give way.

If you can get access to the inside of the locker and it's a Thetford service door, you should be able to undo the two screws securing the lock cover plate and so gain access to the mechanism. Since the key is in the lock, you should be able to turn the barrel and so open the locker door -- or even just push the catch out of the way. From there, remove the barrel, turn it upside down and shake?...

A strong magnet and a very thin piece of metal to contact the key. Maybe a spray of WD40 first to help the broken key slide out easier.

I drill with a tiny bit, then glue with 5 min epoxy to drill bit and push back into the hole drilled in the back of the key, leave for half an hr and out it will come.
