Battery alarm from victron

0 degrees in our town last night and now 5+ and sunny . should I tilt my solar panels to day. Has victron done its job ? It's to cold to go out and see.

If your battery and solar charger are next to each other then its saying its over 5C so no it hasnt resticted the charging. The Victron solar charger does not display its internal sensor temperature.

No Dave, it's home and I've lost the drivers door glass mirror also, it gos from bad to worse. The fuse box or location of relays fuses is just never dry always damp to the touch.but as it is under the windscreen looking for a way to seal above the fuses and find a solution. Mate.

Hi thanks My solar controller is above the driver's seat on the bulkhead and the battery is onthe floor behind the drivers seat. So 5 feet in height difference. Both with wood between the vans bodywork.

The controller has in the trends drop down box ( battery temp) but it's not assessable also has load current.at the bottom.
How do you make them live ?

buy a battery sensor from victron it does voltage and temp it sticks onto battery

I only have a couple of bits of Victron gear including mppt and battery monitor so may be wrong but I ‘think’ you need to run it all though some additional hardware and/or software to see what you want. I just bought a Bluetooth battery operated temperature sensor and put in on a battery cable in the battery compartment so I could see how cool it was. For me that’s is fine but may not work for you, ask on building site

Oh so are they all the same as there are a few upgrades ? Money grabbers should have been in box. So now thats another 50 quid each. As anyone got photos of item's. Please as it's now below 5 degree's in the roof let alone behind seat.

Is that the smart shunt I have that also ? But as thats stuck on bat behind the seat the blue tooth dont reach as far !

its called a victron smart sense it comes in 3 mtr or 10 mtr range in bluetooth
