We have one of those spikes for doing up to 4 potatoes, find they do ok on the BBq.

Pre-bake at home then put them in the freezer. Get them out the freezer the night before you want them and leave on the side. Put them in the oven to warm through and crisp up.

Wrap them up in silver foil and stick then on top of the engine or strap to the exhaust.

Should be done in 75 Miles at 2300 RPM
