Arthur Appreciation Group???

CJ, I can't believe that poor old Arthur (the DOG, not the wildcamper!!) can be as ugly as you make out!! From what I have seen, he is really cute, and I would love to get to know him better. I cannot bear the way you run him down (lol!!) and I feel that those who agree with me should start an "Arthur Appreciation Group" so he knows that some of us think he is the greatest!! :dance:

Anyone else agree??

PS, I only have a miniature bottle of whisky, so am unable to feed his vodka habit. Will he be OK with that??? ;)

Mary, i have met Arthur, and i can assure you he is lovely, he growls a little bit but not surprising, what his dad says about him lol,
 
I agree. and anyway every one says that a dog is the image of its owner.:bow:

What we need is a nice photo of Arthur the Dog so we can see how really cute he is, as I'm sure he is. I have a terrier cross (a rescue dog) with a twisted face, he'd been badly bitten by either another dog or I suspect a badger. He'd been found starving in a wood and taken to the RSPCA who mended him, but he can't close his mouth properly and he always has a fang sticking out. Some people think he looks fierce, as if he's snarling, and others think he looks as if he's grinning. To me he is adorably beautiful and I bet Arthur is too.

awwww bless, and i bet he's been your best friend too, i worked at the RSPCA for many years and have rescued many dogs, they all turn out the best, trouble is, its too heartbreaking, i took one dog home, Sam, he was a 13 year old GSDXlab, he had had his skull smashed by a baseball bat and half his ear cut off by the kids (pretending to be haridressers) he only had a few months to live as he was riddled with cancer, i took him to scarborough beach, lots of walks in the woods, and of course lots of love, i probably gave him the best 3 months of his entire 13 yrs, its so sad what people do to animals, it makes me so angry. back on topic, i have met Arthur THE DOG and i think he is gorgeous but i think every dog is, theres no ugly dog at all, just the owners lol

My hubby has joined the group after looking at the pic, and falling in love with Arthur the Dog!! (just hope he doesn't fancy Old Arthur the campsite dodger as well!!) He obviously has a soft spot for ugly old dogs, perhaps that's why he married me???? :lol-049: :lol-049: :lol-049:

CJ, you'd better watch out, or he'll be trying to dognap poor Arthur!! :ninja:

See! I knew I was right. Arthur is beautiful. I am definitely a fan. He looks soooo cuddly. Please give him a hug from me.
 
never seen an ugly dog yet, the"re all gorgeous. arthur looks all warm and cuddly. i think i"m more an animal person than a people person.
 
hehe no Arthur is sooooooooooooooooo ugly!

i gave a friend a lift home yesterday after getting my new tattoo, and Arthur and Wittmann was in the back, and Athur just put his head on her shoulder and the girl said he looked so cute. hes the ugliest dog i have ever had!!!!

heres a foto from the other day, i had been in bed for 2 days aching, and Arthur wouldnt leave my side, he never does when im really bad. hes the ugly one on the right lol

Cooljules, why do you persist in saying that Arthur is ugly when everyone can see he's cute? Should you have gone to Specsavers?

i always get told off for saying hes ugly, a girl has just put this ..
