Another toilet thread

From an Amazon review:

We bought this to try out - anything to make the joys of cassette toilets easier! It does exactly as you would expect and initially everyone was delighted with it. However, a drawback became apart when it emptying the cassette (a lovely job we all enjoy!!) - this product made the process of emptying harder as the contents did not come out so easily. I won't go into to details as I am sure you know what I mean. We tried ripping the seam of the paper "Happy Bowls" to see it it improved things but alas no. If this product decomposed more quickly in the cassette then they would be brilliant but for now I will not be bothering with them.

I line the bowl with toilet paper which is less convenient, slightly, but does the same job and you know it will break down.

Take aim

Why would you need to line the bowl?
Open the trapdoor and line yourself up correctly, then congratulate yourself on a perfect plant (snooker term).

Do I have to mention phase two? No scrunching! Fold.

Just remember what the rugby referees say

Crouch
Hold
Engage

and then !!!!

Do it in a doggy bag then turf it into a hedge.:scared::lol-049::lol-049::lol-049:

do it in a doggy bag , tie it to a couple of helium balloons and release
at a certain altitude the balloons will explode , but that will no longer be your problem

Looking at the you tube video they are meant for rvs with 3inch waste pipes and a macerator, I think you might be able to get rid of you toilet brush but would have to carry a spatula to get them out of your cassette 😄

In my usual helpful mode of assisting others to get to the bottom of things I find a a single sheet of paper kitchen towel is the ideal size to place strategically in the bowl before operations begin.

strategically = adverb, a way that relates to the achievement of long-term or overall aims.

Dangerous idea. Kitchen towel is not designed to disintegrate in water, just the opposite. It is very easy to block a domestic waste system with kitchen towel, see earlier comment re spatula.:D

Tad concerned about this spatula chat .
Please make sure this implement is clean before flipping your eggs !

If you buy a cheapy roll from poundland etc then they disintigrate very quickly.

In 20 years I have never had a problem emptying cassette without the need for spatula or nobels invention.

Prorridge for breakfast, then use public, NT, English heritage, Museum, cafe etc toilets. For anything else;

Must be made in the same factory as Aldi's extra length toilet tissue. Cheeap & nasty, falls to bits easily, which is why we buy it just for the van.

Double or Triple Ply Man size tissues. Separate a Ply and use it to line the bowl.

For those not good at Maths, a box of triple ply tissues will last 50% longer than double ply. :)
