Another solar power question

Hello.
I've been reading lots of threads as well as various websites, trying to get my head round solar panel installation. Thankfully, someone else will install it for me but I need to buy the kit. I'm scared of buying the wrong thing.
At the moment my van has a 110w cab and a 85w leisure battery. I think I read somewhere that it's best to get a high w panel just in case you want to add more batteries/ load in the future. I saw a 195w full install kit for motorhomes and I'm wondering if it's too big.
The aim is to install an inverter so that I can use 240v appliances such as a TV and hairdryer and increase the battery bank at a later date. One problem is that the 85w leisure battery is located under the driver's seat and there isn't enough space to replace it with a bigger battery.
I'm in a quandry and all a dither. Can any kind soul advise?

The only deciding factor is what your roof will accommodate. You can't just buy a panel or two without knowing the dimensions of the clear spaces you have available.
If you use your van in winter months then the more wattage the better as you'll only get a 5th of their Summer output

Have a read here, Suki. Even a phone call for advice, on perhaps the guise of a purchase, their kit is a tad pricey!!
