Another Problem

We have a carver water heater in our Kontiki. Works great on electricity but on gas theres a problem.

I took the cover off on the outside and could see the gas was coming out but the igniter bit did nothing. Used a lighter and it worked ok, so this means that the clicker/probe thingy is not working. Do these go?

Hi Craig, yes they can go, it should be a fairly easy fix to do , but not knowing the carver heaters I couldn't tell you how to do it

dont know much about them but if you go on the preloved website, there's a chap on there who is a carver expert, he is excellent, sorted my problem

Just won a new module off ebay - £86 deliverd. Good price I think for a new one, hopefully that should sort it.

Changed the module on the carver water heater today and bingo - lovely hot water on gas!
