We watched the first half of the drama "An Appropriate Adult" on ITV last night, and got to musing over the safety of Wild camping. I remember at the time of the West case a criminal psychologist saying on TV "Fred West was the one that got caught", meaning there's others like him still out there. Anyone here remember the Drummond's case, the family who got murdered whilst sleeping in their estate car in France. I had a couple of encounters myself, with drunken Frenchmen who thought a cyclist was an easy target for a mugging but being 6'4" and 16 stone they soon saw the error of their ways.
