AIB's Kirby talks about Motorhomes in this recent interview.

Interesting, especially regarding Ford thefts. If insurers are now starting to refuse to cover some Fords, then can we expect to see cars with keyless ignition being refused. It seems to me that substantially proportionally bigger losses must be accrued by insurers, or should I say policy holders from losses in that sector of the market.

???????

Keyless entry vehicles are a major problem for insurers, theft rates are sky high and it is seen in the increased premiums people are paying. Some insurers increase rates slower than others so if you do see a big increase on your daily drive car you'll be wise to shop around (and we would love to have provide a quote of course too!)

I have found in the past that if your van is damaged the other persons ins never pay the full amount to cover time replacing the parts damaged.

Hey Leah! I think you should give me a further discount then! No keyless entry and zero chance of my van getting nicked!! :ROFLMAO:
