Sorry for clogging up the forum but f you don’t use adBlu it’ll be of little interest for you this thread,
I notice Halfords are still selling loads of the stuff by the container and I’d like to point out for those still buying it this way that there’s an easy peasier method.
Just go to the garage to fill up. (Assuming it’s selling it, not all do) , it’s far cheaper and no fuss. Just stick the pipe in and squeeze the trigger, it stops automatically when full just your diesel pump does.
Remember, if filling in France , many garages want you to pay in advance, so you’ll have to guess how much you'll need.
I put in 7.2 litres after doing 3000 miles.

No big container to try and squeeze into petrol station bin either. :lol-049:
Or take up all the space in recycling bin.
About £1.15 litre at Halfords too.

Oh yes that’s a point , you can’t fill a container using the pump method, only fill direct. Something to do with magnets are needed for nozzle to work.

well ,I had not heard of adblu until I read this post, just googled it, it seems some of you have another thing to worry about Hee Hee .

I’d like to have adblu to worry about as it would mean a Euro 6 van. Anything less than Euro 6 will be very limited by LEZs within the next few years.

If you are duel fuel with LPG you should be ok in the LEZ's.... Most probably cheaper to have it fitted than changing your van... :drive:

Sadly not correct, there is currently no option to change any non Euro 6 vehicle (vans) to be compliant. It is also unlikely any option will be offered as the cost has been estimated at £15,000 plus VAT per vehicle. I’ve worked in transport management for 30plus years and this is a huge issue the non Euro6 vehicle problems that are looming.

In the Motorhome market most people think I don’t want to tour in a city so it doesn’t matter. However it will exclude anyone who lives their from taking it to their home and that’s a big issue.
