Hi has anyone payed €5.49 for an extention for 9000 pitches for motorhomes from acsi? I have just been invited to do so.
 
Have the app already. But reckon the extra would just replicate other apps out there that I use. And if it is new, it won’t have the reviews which I find invaluable. It’s not expensive, but just do t reckon I need it. I ditched camp stops app for the same reason - duplicated info and no reviews.
 
We have the app and confirm that it does not appear to add anything new location wise that are not already suggested in other apps however all sites shown (certainly for Spain) do appear to be “official” so there should not be any issues with the local constabulary. It may be a low cost alternative to the various ASCI aire books available but with limited information compared to the books (which we do have and actually are reliable and offer a fair representation of what you can expect when searching out aires).

The fact is for us we do not mind paying a few pounds for information that offers us alternatives to camp sites and enables us to plan in advance which gps coordinates to enter into the satnav for park up locations that we are comfortable with. And to pre plan for a plan B or even plan C if plan A is full to overflowing.

This thread reminded me to get the App on my phone :)

I decided to get the optional 9,000 Motorhome pitches add-on as it seemed a reasonable cost.


(might be just my PC, but I couldn't complete the order using Firefox, but was ok using the MS Edge Browser. Thought I would mention this in case anyone else tries to get the App and gets an error message)

As far as I’ve seen in the past most of the motorhome places are already on ************* and **********, the latter giving a lot more wildcampimping spots as well in in Europe, including feedback.

Er, howcome Acsi gets a mention and not t’others, since they cover lots of countries WC POIs don’t I am not sure what the issue is?
