A good day for Solar.

A lovely clear, frosty day here. The atmosphere is so clear that I could see aircraft contrails at huge distances. The Solar rays have to travel through much more of our atmosphere in Winter but now and again the solar panel results can be surprising for this time of year.

From Sunniside where we walked, I could clearly see the steam rising from the Eggar woodchip Plant at Hexham. Out of curiosity, I measured how far away it was by measuring the distance on Google Earth. It was just over 17 miles away. Normally the haze makes it impossible to see.

My panels did nout today as covered with snow up to about 11am.

not much chance of solar today,
Parked here last week for an appointment in Doncaster, the battery’s were fully charged by the time the sun went down
Somewhere out there is a lovely river valley and rolling hills ����

No charging for a while as weather man says more of the white stuff.
