Yep, Sandsend on a busy Sunday.
You may remember that there is space for large numbers of vans and cars to park end on and each have a sea view.
Well not today.
Watched loads of cars come in, realise no space and drive off muttering.

And then we will moan when the council gates the area.

Yeah, It’s started all ready hasn’t it, There’s ALWAYS one that has to draw attention to Park ups, They park the wrong way ‘Into’ or against the direction of Oncoming Traffic rather than ‘With’ the direction of traffic, But we have to be tolerant of others I guess.
I suppose so long as it’s Taxed, MOTd & Insured it ain’t all bad though.
Maybe they should look to the examples of all the OTHER people I can see parked along their in your pic for some pointers in Road / Parking etiquette.

they are parked in the direction of travel, assuming taxed and insured whats the problem ? they are parking not camping per se if SBC had half a brain and allowed parking in other parts of the town people wouldn't congregate in one area

Channa

Just to be clear on my post, I was referring to the CAR !.

Perhaps I should have explained it better. This is not a road, it is a small council area used for parking road machinery / gravel, etc. Has notices saying private but most locals use it for a quick walk along the beach. It is also one of our POIs.

Hadn't realised it was the pull off, last time we were ther it was full of building stuff but i wouldn't use it during the day.

They won`t give a shyte, they`ll just move on and fcuk up somewhere else :mad2:

I guess one van parked side on and subsequent vans followed suit, the unfortunate result is just a few vans taking up all the space.

No this is not in the POIs.

It was removed years ago due to the signage indicating it is private land ...
