£12 a night. No EHU. Billy no mates. Off to Barton on Sea next. Who needs to goto France 🤔😊

England is great, but it’s becoming too crowded, too expensive and too unwelcoming (especially wilding) which is hardly surprising given the surge of ‘Costa Covid Campers’ 😉. France is so much bigger and less populated, having said that there are more campers about than we saw pre Covid. Spent under €50 on sites in two and a half weeks (two nights in a posh one for a Chausson owners meet and one other night in one close to a Covid test centre for our return tests).

The odd place charge for water but some give it away with free electricity - if you need it.

Vive la France & Vive la difference 🇫🇷🇮🇲👍

You do need to add in the cost of the ferry, health insurance and testing as well as the extra fuel. We have had 8 nights at £13 a night with EHU, 3 nights at £8 no EHU. 3 nights at £12 a night no EHU.2 nights Wild Camping Free

You’re not wrong about ferry, tunnel and extra but cheaper fuel, health insurance free with bank account, three nights on camp sites we really could have done without (too noisy and crowded).

free Aires in rural settings with stunning weather plenty to offer and no crowding - let me think 🤔 - We’re happy if we’ve had to shell out a few extra spondoolies.

Not in any way criticising your choice, but we chose differently for our own reasons. 👍

The Isle of Man is best.

There is a small prison just off the shore at Douglas. Our first TT the ex governor put us up and gave us his garage to work in at governors bridge, a few years later our mechanic spent some time with the residing governor.😡
