Hi everyone as I'm getting ready for our first get away im thinking is it worth paying £180 for a 12v tv or just sticking with my 240v through a small 300w inverter would it really make that much difference I have 315ah in batteries and 340watt in solar.
Cheers

unless you have it on 12 hrs a day wont make any differance. cheers mick

You have enough power for the summer but you don't have to spend £180 on a decent TV, Lidl or Aldi have them for less than £130 regularly

12v as other said many home ones are 12v with a 230v to 12v transformer,i got a cello of market place for £20 as new 22 inch screen.

When I broke the screen on my Cello I used a normal 240v tv for a few months. Running it on a Bestek 300w inverter which also powered my Fire tv stick the total use was between 2.4 and 2.6 amps. This is less than a few dedicated 12v tv’s.
The tv I was using was a 32” JVC

Look at the data label on back of TV, this will tell you the power consumption, then compare it to a 12v tv.
