It was camperfaidate that accepted my order then realised we were in the uk and refunded the money - see post #24. Thanks anyway. Have now tried - Leicester Campers, KTG caravans, Magnum Motorhomes, PRIMA leisure, A & L Leisure - they've replied to say no and several others that haven't...

Camperfaitade accepted my order but a week later said they couldn't ship my order because of not having a tax ID number! Refunded the money straight away.

It's a CI Carioca 705, 09 plate.

The centre part has cracked, it still works but only just. We have 11 in total and they seem to be about £14 each!

The catches are Baldacci v269 and I've been in touch with 5 Italian shops that have the exact ones but non of them will ship to UK. To buy them in Italy you need a tax ID numbrer. I'm sure it's since we left the EU!

Does anyone know of a UK based supplier of door catches, specifically Baldicci v269. The ones that come up on a Google search are all in Italy and won't ship to the uk. Wonder why!

There are still places to overnight for free. As you get on the ferry, they ask you if you have somewhere booked but that is all.

Irish ferries slightly cheaper than DFDS (and P & O).
