    Update Cullen motorhome Aire

Checked it out yesterday; black and grey waste disposals, and water tap on left hand side when through the barrier. Pitches all with gravel standing and alternate so that rear pitches still get a good view. The normal parking area has now been reduced and has a height and side barrier...

No Aires at Bonar Bridge car park.

Definitely not a good decision for both us and the community, but the flooding estimation is a real problem that we will all suffer from, and at least this has been identified before spending all that money the Council had been able gather for the Aire.

    Heading South in Scotland

Very surprised at the CAMC club allowing Elsan & water point outside at New England Campsite, I queried why they would not allow this on their sites for a small charge similar to the CCC club, and their archaic response drove me into cancelling my membership with them!!

    Mattress Infill for Globecar Campscout?

As colinm says, its a pain getting in and out with the end infill in place. We have the 2012 campscout and still use a double with the infill & board removed; I would let ours go to you, but we are keeping it for when we may sell our van.

    Lateral Flow Tests

We regularly do LFT, as requested by Scot Gov, to help identify the spread or lack of spread in our area. So far all our tests negative.

    CU Kinlochewe (Highlands)

Numerous signs put up by local community indicating no overnight parking or camping due to risk of flooding flooding, but no problems over use during the day. Toilets available.

Using POI kml files with Maps.me - Maps with me.

I tried to add the file, but it is the same info as in your link but modified to read OM instead of maps.me Sorry for confusion...

Using POI kml files with Maps.me - Maps with me.

I've checked with OM and there is no way to change the particular dataset within the OM App, but you can export the bookmark set and modify if it (if you are geeky) and then import it back. There are some instructions about modifying the KML set, but not easy for novices I'm afraid...

    Wildcamp a month challenge 2020

Well done those that have started entering their wildcamps etc, we haven't been recording anything because we understood the 'challenge' was paused for this year, but it is good to see fellow members still getting out and about.

We have stayed there several times and been impressed. There can be boy racers, but they didn't cause us a problem.

Open letter to Caravan and Motorhome Club

I tried almost exactly the same thing 2 years ago and had a very short response; they were not considering anything like it... I quoted CCC as well but no joy from CAMC, so I did not renew my subscription and stayed with CCC. Occasionally we do stay at CMC licenced sites, but just pay the full...

Tyre pressures ( what do you use to inflate/check/ adjust?

Gordon I have been attracted to this inflator, but not sure if the combined length of 12v cable and yellow extension tube gets you to both rear tyres without disconnecting, are you able to access all your tyres on the new van? Bruce

    Wildcamp a month challenge 2020

The weather appeared to be settled for a couple of days so we took off to bimble around the local Moray coast, no point in avoiding the local beauty... On Thursday 5th March we checked out Portsoy, a previous favourite location when caravaning with the kids when they were younger; the council...
