Can’t help I’m afraid, but good to hear Mildred is still alive and kicking. Stayed there for a week while house hunting ten years ago. If as you say, using the car once set up is an option, Mildred’s place is a good option. I’m an hours drive from Cardiff so not able to help…sorry.

I’ve no intention of going abroad in the camper...but fully support the idea of having to show proof of being vaccinated. The vaccine doesn’t give you 100% immunity as I understand it. I’d much prefer to enjoy a pint in my local pub knowing all those present had been vaccinated than risk sitting...

Bought my van 5years ago and changed the belt. Changed again a couple of weeks ago despite not having the maximum mileage allowed. Belts do deteriorate with time. Better safe than sorry.

Isn’t that the point of forums....to discuss and share viewpoints? Or am I missing something. Common sense tells me gas can be dangerous so I turn it off.

Nu Venture is hard to beat. I get between 40 /45 mpg depending on terrain. (Fiat Scudo based).

My experience is the complete opposite. Nine years ago I upped sticks, left Yorkshire, and moved to Wales. They made me very welcome.....so much so I doubt I'll ever move back.
