Has anyone stopped here recently? We can't get on to any CL type places as they are all too wet. We're hoping to get close to my brother in Emsworth Thursday or Friday night.
I've tried looking online at sandfly coverage maps. Either there are 16 different versions, or one I get to grips with is years out of date.
So, please can anyone post a link to a current map?
We're heading to Limoges but may wander anywhere really as we're across the water for just over a month.
Is it too cheeky to ask when the next POI download file will be available?
We're off to France on the 20th and I'm currently updating the SatNav with the latest map and would obviously like the latest POIs too.
We are off in a few weeks and will probably be taking a 5 year old copy of All the Aires and using Search for Sites.
What other apps would you recommend, apart from the WC app of course?
Now that we have a larger refillable gas bottle and a 6kg Calor as a spare, the refillable has to go at the back of the locker due to the length of the gas hose, making it a bit of a pain when it comes to refilling.
If we are to buy a longer hose is it worth getting a stainless steel one? How...
Having used the bio wash tablets in the cassette for the last 10 years, I don't seem to be able to find them anywhere. Aldi and Lidl now sell the capsules.
So, I wondered what everyone preferred using these days. I'm thinking that the capsules sometimes dissolve to leave a gungy goo that might...
Last year when taxing Percy monthly our payments were £25.81 per month. I've just gone online to tax him again and the first payment is £5165!!
Is this maybe because of the timing and it's 2 months payments?
I'm hoping that there is some obvious human error at play here. It's too late to phone LPGshop who we got the tank from, until Monday now.
Phill just took our brand new Gas Bank refillable to our local garage for it's first fill.
He said that lpg was spraying out of the filling nozzle as if it...
Well our weekend has gone totally tits up and we haven't even been away one night yet.
Bailey Autograph Approach 625, 6 years old with solar panel & 2 leisure batteries.
Spent a month away until end October no problems. Came home and drained everything down, leaving all taps open.
Put on...
Last year we went away for a fortnight and I used my phone so much I got RSI that was really painful for over 6 months.
I've now got a second laptop which is small and neat, with fingerprint recognition. I don't keep any confidential files on it but I do use Google and of course it logs me in...
We've all had a manual somewhere that says your 3-way fridge won't operate properly if on a slope of something more than about 6 degrees (I think).
Well I was pleased that ours was working just fine when parked on a friends sloping drive the other night, especially when I opened the bathroom...
Having got Milton Keynes sorted we are now looking for a spot near Aylesbury. Can't find anything. Just a safe place to leave the van overnight would do, as we can stay with friends but they selfishly bought a house with nowhere to park a motorhome. 🙄
We shall sadly have to attend a funeral soon at Milton Keynes Crem. For a trip in the car it would be 6 hours driving, and we'd probably have to take the dogs with us too. So I thought maybe take the van and have a couple of days away. There are a few car parks and one pub stop on the app but no...
Nothing is totally unbreachable but if you have the right place to bolt one of these in, it may prevent the opportunists getting the family jewels whilst you're lying in a gas-induced heavy slumber.Aldi safe
