    Card Scammed It is not a scam. When you pre authorise a card it initially charges the maximum allowed. You will find this payment only ever pending and will disappear when the actual amount you had is put through. The only concern is that it could affect a maximum limit.

    Fuel No problems with fuel at all on our three week trip from Cherbourg to the Med and back. Fill up at supermarkets the costs are so much better.

    Winterising I had put off draining ours down as well and have those icicles hanging from the taps. Just hoping no damage has been done and I guess it will show when everything thaws. Currently have two oil filled radiators in it so fingers crossed.

    Talbot problem I had the same problem with my Camelot and it was the contact breaker (points) becoming loose. Cured by resetting gap and applying screw lock to avoid them vibrating loose again.
