Garmin account to be deleted. Genuine??

I have 3 Garmin devices and check for updates regular. In fact the Garmin Express thumbnail on the laptop tells me when they are available. All 3 of them are bang up to date and the 2 sat navs have just had one of their large quarterly map updates. Why would you spend decent money on a large...

Can I (or should I) use these batteries

The figures are volts per cell and there are 6 cells per battery. Float charge of 2.27 to 2.3 equates to 13.6v to 13.8v and the cycle application of 2.3 to 2.4 equates to 13.8v to 14.4v.

    I was here first🤯

Been there done that and got the tee-shirt 🤬 Many many years back i had a Honda EU10i that would happily run the microwave or a portable electric oven. Pulled onto the aire at Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and because there was already 1 other van on there near the service point i went right to the...

    Size of your van?

7.5m long, 2.3m wide and 2.85m tall so doesn`t trigger the height sensor on the French Péage and happily goes through them as Class 2 :) .

Damage sustained to van while in garage

Surely, if the motorhome was in the garage for repair then it was under their care and their insurance ( if they have any ) should be paying for the damage ?

    van insurance.

It`s so that you are not initially scared off by the huge price hike that some insurance companies have imposed  Once they`ve got you to contact them by phone that`s almost job done as they now have the upper hand in the majority of cases :)

    Emovis Tag

Been using a tag for a few years now and they`re great (y) An added bonus is that the earache i used to get in my left ear has now vanished as we approach the toll booths :) Best places, low profile / A-class top centre of thewindscreen, overcab / luton model bottom centre of the windscreen.

    Bad news for forecourt LPG

I actually live closer ( 5 minutes away ) to the Preston Gas Centre down Factory Lane but Morrisons is easier for my sized motorhome. Last couple of times i tried down there Swift Tyres and the car body shop opposite the entrance has had cars everywhere, i need to reverse in so my fill point is...

what do you put in the water

Puriclean twice a year, motorhome now 17 years old, had it from new and still drink water straight from the tank, no problems. 1 X 400g tub does 2 doses i.e. 1 year so £7.50 per year to keep it good is not a lot of money IMHO...

    P&O season tickets

As previously dedicated P&O fans with season tickets we now use Irish Ferries on the Dover - Calais - Dover crossing after what they did 🤬

    France & food.

Maybe because they like a particular one. In all the years we`ve been going i`ve never found Lancashire Crumbly over there, do you know where i might get it ?

    France & food.

We always use Dover - Calais - Dover and never been asked or searched for food, not even since the rules changed. Fridge/freezer fully packed both ways as are to food cupboards.
