Thanks for the replies, we’ve tried Repsol garages and various supermarkets, no luck so far. We’ll certainly look into the other suggestions, all very helpful and appreciated.
That’s really kind of you but as we are already in Spain it would be a bit difficult. We just need to know where the mapbooks are sold over here, so we can buy during our travels. Much appreciate you offer though.
Sorry if this is a daft question but we’re stumped. We’re in Spain using our trusty old giant fold out road map, which is out of date, very tatty and fights back when being refolded. What we want is an A4 spiral mapbook, we have one of France which is very user friendly. The problem is we...
Thanks for your replies. We thought it was dirt or gravel ourselves but it worse. We ended up pulling into a little garage to the rear of the Repsol garage. They were great and immediately helped us. We left the van for a couple of hours for them to inspect it. Turned out to be the brake...
All sorted, I ended up contacting the eBay seller of mifi device who was brilliant. He emailed the info I had left at home, which guided me through. Very happy, great result.
I have activated data roaming on my phone but how would you do this on a mifi? I’ll probably end up ringing 3 but will see if anyone else has any ideas. Thank you.
Thanks, I've had a look but I'm more confused than ever, we don't have a PC to connect to, I thought this would just work as in UK. I wonder if a phone shop could help me?
Help!
Mifi unit was working great in UK but won't work in France! It shows conneced to WiFi but no internet connection, signal strength is strong. Any ideas please?
Yay! I downloaded the 3 app while connected to the mifi, opened it and info was there without having to input anything at all. Many thanks for taking the time to reply
That’s absolutely brilliant, thank you. I’ll give it a go and let you know if I’m successful, after I walk the dog though, he’s giving me that look......
I ended up buying a Huawei E5573 from eBay for £36. It seems to be working fine with the 12gb 3 data sim, the real test will be when we go abroad in a few weeks. The only problem I have is, how do you know how much data you have left? Can anyone help please?
I decided not to use the old phone as I'd have to use the nano part of the SIM, the mifi device uses a standard.. if the SIM didn't work in the phone I'd be.sfuck with the wrong size SIM for mifi. I've decided to get an unlocked Huawei E5577 to be on the safe side.
