The OP implies a gizmo. If this uses a 13Amp PLUG to connect to the mains circuit it MAY all be that simple and marginally reduce paid for power when in use BUT is it worth the risk ????? For such limited savings.
Provided the Lounge area is not too big. AND you are going to spend Megabucks
I ould go for a diesel Cooker which also provides heat.
Then as you imply "loadsasolar" and Battery storage.and suitable fridge and inverter.
SO NO LPG
Maybe a 2nd diesel heater for warmth or a 500w leccy fan heater...
Soo.... NOTHER wasted telephone call to DWP (Newcastle)
Might have to ask Marie to visit them !!!
Passed me to another department then cut off
THEY will get a formal complaint AHEAD
1 Slow and poor service
2 Wasted telephone charges
3 Frustration
4 repayment of tax for 2018/9
Yes ! HMRC said they n3ed info from DWP
DWP Noooo
However HMRC know my Due pension for this year THAT I assume came from DWP
I maybe 3 legs rather than 2 hands One of the legs being a useless pr**k
I am now subject of a GOVERNMENT RipOff
1 I have to repay a few Thousand Pounds of State pension due to living in Thailand as I am only due £123 a week and over 8 years my Pension paid had gone up. This is Law so I know I have to pay and will pay. The overpayment is based on 8 years.
I do not...
Wild camping is good HOWEVER
Getting fresh water a minor problem
Emptying grey water needs care
Emptying your toilet cassette very difficult
Disposing of rubbish likewise difficult. We packed all the food when in the supermarket carpark and donated all packaging in their bins
Most campsites do...
When LPG was more easily available I considered a LPG Genny but not anymore
NOW the clever lead that allows you to use EV charging points would seem the best bet in Winter
Aires with paid for EHU as well
I remind all about my motorhome
A very nice and TIDY Lunar Premier H622
We boght it in 2010 and Used it continuously for 5 Months every summer from 2013 to 2019
We now live permanently in Thailand and it needs to be sold
1st Registered 2006 Now 56000 miles
2x11kg GASIT Solar 120Watt 2 100AH...
Solar can be done a lot cheaper !
Depending on space look to use an Electric domestic Fridge and inverter (fridge only) If necessary.
12V fridges are available try Jacksons Leisure
My 2 big worries over the years we "full-timed" in the summer were
Health and a major problem with the vehicle.
As with the OP we had no home to go to in UK If I or Nida or the motorhome were out of action.
ps
The table will slide out and we have the insert.
Thus 5 people can use
The 2 captains front seats (swivelled) the 2 front facing bench seat spaces and the side bench seat
The Front Dining table leg has a knee joint and further support. so the table dropped and front facing bench seat are 60 % of a double bed.
The bench seat on the passenger side has a pull out which completes a double bed.
We rarely used it but we have all the "cushions" etc
Where are you...
I NOW live in Thailand.
