The park will be closed fron Nov 1st till March
However the park manager is happy to let folk use the elsan and fresh water points over the period F.O.C
Please take care and be aware of heavy plant machinery that might be moving in the park as there will be work getting carried out
Think this is a great gesture for motorhomers who may be travelling over the period

Many thanks Gordon.

Just to add to your post Gordon.
Ian informed me that whilst the Aire is closed he is fine with parking overnight in the carpark. This was a discussion I had with him last year. But I would ask anyone wishing to do so to contact them first just to make sure. And I would limit my stay to 1-2 nights. If we do so I will put a fiver in their post just outside the office for each night.

Waiting on a update for this bill ,Ian may let me know to morrow🤞

We were there at the end of September and there was a notice asking people to be honest & pay for services. Apparently people have been using and not paying, shame.
The vast majority of folk are decent and do pay. But there are always the few who give us all a bad name. I hope that they are able to install a security barrier to help prevent this from happening. We turned up a year ago having paid for two nights with EHU in advance, only to find that all of the EHU points were in use. Obviously either someone was paying nothing and using the EHU, or saved themselves £2.50 a night by paying for non EHU. Sadly there are such idiots amongst us, and even sadder, there always will be. I don’t get it, spending tens of thousands on a van, then behaving like complete idiots.

We stayed at a harbour and watched people come in and empty and fill for free, it was £5 payable at the shop but no way can the staff monitor the coming and going’s. Not sure all honesty boxes are used either.
But I loved one stop with CCTV everywhere, now did they work who knows ;)

The same happened to us, it’s such a shame, this is a great place and it won’t put us off revisiting.

If you do head for Lochore here’s a good walk for those feeling fit. It’s not a hard walk should take about 3 hours and when you get up Benarty Hill you get good views of loch Leven.
