Obanboy 666 - yes, ours has been stood a long time in storage and the starter
battery went completely flat.
We usually go away every month or so but due to illness we've not been away anything like that recently and despite starting and running the engine on a regular basis the starter
battery soon went flat.
I believe the alarm system is connected to the starter
battery and presume that could be the problem in draining it.
Anyway, with the CSB2 device now fitted the
solar panel and the leisure batteries are keeping the new starter
battery topped up nicely in preparation for our France trip in a couple of weeks.
Despite being cheap as chips it seems to work as it says on the tin and I'm glad we fitted one – I'll let you know if there are any problems with it but at the moment I'm happy with the way it performs.
