Just tried this app on my journey today ...
I have been considering a replacement for my elderly TomTom Go 910, and I thought this was worth a go.
The result - I will stick with the TomTom.
I'm not impressed with the Sygic software. The reasons:
1. Over cluttered display with so much information it distracts rather than helps.
2. Road speed limits are frequently wrong. And worse, when travelling on a motorway if another road crosses it, the speed limit changes to that of the other road!
3. On my tablet the volume of the directions is too low, even on maximum, to be usable.
4. The current vehicle speed fluctuates all the time - it seems no smoothing of the GPS derived value is applied.
5. It seems impossible to easily find a POI within a specific category in an area to navigate to.
I have a new respect for TomTom software ...
One positive observation. Our POIs for Sygic load and function correctly
